Interview with H.E. Mohammed Turk, Vice Chairman and CEO of Aqaba Development Corporation


Aqaba Development Corporation is to develop Aqaba Free Economic Zone, a multi-sector development zone, that has already attracted number of mega real estate and tourism investments into this business and tourism hub on the Red Sea. H.E. Mohammed Turk, the newly appointed Vice Chairman and CEO, shares his thoughts on how to accomplish this vision. According to the master plan, light and heavy industries will account for 20%, tourism 50%, and services 30%. Aqaba expects around 900 000 visitors per year by 2015.
