Jeddah has a massive -- Emaar Economic City or King Abdullah Economic City investment -- with the projected investment value of $86 billion to $100 billion according to Emaar website. This economic city will boast a port with the estimated capacity of 20 million. With the enlargement of the Suez Canal, Jeddah will become the gateway to the Gulf.
