On 17th Feb, 2023, DPS International Ghana organized a science exhibition in the school. The science exhibition was held with the theme “Towards an Innovative Future”. It incorporated projects related to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths). The exhibition started at 11.00Am and the Director of the school, Mr. Mukesh Thakwani, also graced the occasion. The exhibition was open to parents and students of the school.
There were about 600 projects on display. Each student of the school contributed a project. As the exhibition started, enthusiastic students were at their respective tables to present their projects to esteemed visitors and parents. There were a range of models from solar power energy, AC and DC motors, hydroelectric generation, automation transformers, and robots to satellite.
The most outstanding work was the “Earth by 2050” display, where the students research-driven brains created a room which showcased how it will be for humans in the year 2050. They brought out the colonization of Mars, use of AI and concept of self-sufficient smart cities very effectively, giving the audience an attractive visual display of the Earth by 2050.
Mr. Mukesh Thakwani and Mrs. Tanya Thakwani, along with the Principal, went around each model designed by the students, and also assessed the description given by the students. Mr. Mukesh Thakwani appreciated the contribution of the young generation to the field of science and technology. He also thanked the parents for their contribution towards the encouragement and motivation of their children to think critically and to be creative.
The Principal extended her gratitude to Mr. Mukesh Thakwani, the Director of the school, and congratulated all the students who participated in the exhibition.
