Jean-Marie Ackah, the President of SIPRA and UGE, is a prominent business figure in Ivory Coast. He was ranked as Marcopolis' #2 most powerful business leader in the country.
Jean-Marie Ackah is the President of SIPRA (Société Ivoirienne de Productions Animales), one of the main producers of animal feed and poultry in Ivory Coast. The company was created in 1976 with the objective of developing a modern poultry sector and contribute to the country's self-sufficiency in terms of food. To achieve its goal, SIPRA created 3 units: Ivoire Poussins (one day chicks), Ivograin (animal feed) and Coqivoire (poultry meat and eggs).
Jean-Marie Ackah is also the President of UGE (Union des Grandes Entreprises Industrielles de Côte d’Ivoire), a union gathering Ivory Coast's major companies from the industrial segment.
